🧺 Cleaning
- Dry clean only is strongly recommended (especially for beaded or embroidered pieces)
- If hand-washing is unavoidable: cold water, mild soap, never wring or twist
- Never use bleach, fabric softener, or harsh detergents
- Never machine wash, even on delicate cycle
♨️ Ironing & Steaming
- Iron on low heat only, always inside out
- Always use a protective cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric
- Never iron directly over embroidery, pearls, or beading
- A garment steamer is the safest option — hold 4–6 inches from fabric
👘 Storage
- Hang on a padded hanger (never wire — it deforms the shoulders)
- Store in a dark, dry place, away from direct sunlight
- Cover with a breathable garment bag (not plastic, which traps moisture)
- Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, and makeup — apply BEFORE dressing

- Apply perfume and makeup BEFORE putting on the kaftan
- Try on with clean, dry hands
- After wearing: hang and air out for a few hours before storing
